      I develop and apply high-throughput methods to perturb and analyze biological systems.

      I believe that microscale analytical approaches have a tremendous role to play in the future of bioscience research, from diagnostic devices to basic biological inquiry at the single-cell level. As a postdoctoral researcher in the Gartner Lab at UCSF, I am working to determine the “design rules” that govern self-assembly of individual cells to form tissue-level structures by building and applying precision engineering methods for tissue assembly with single-cell resolution.
