Overview
Amandine Godier-Furnemont earned her undergraduate degree at Columbia University. She then completed her PhD in Biomedical Engineering at Columbia University, during which she spent two years researching at the Georg-August University of Gottingen in Germany. Her doctoral work was supported by an NSF Graduate Research Fellowship, an F31 Grant from the NHLBI and a DAAD Graduate Research Grant. Following completion of her PhD she attended Yale Medical School, where she was the recipient of the Samuel Jordan Graham Scholarship in Academic Surgery. She has worked in several countries, driven by her interest in global health and surgery.

Altmetrics Details
PMC Citations indicate the number of times the publication was cited by articles in PubMed Central, and the Altmetric score represents citations in news articles and social media.
(Note that publications are often cited in additional ways that are not shown here.)
Fields are based on how the National Library of Medicine (NLM) classifies the publication's journal and might not represent the specific topic of the publication.
Translation tags are based on the publication type and the MeSH terms NLM assigns to the publication.
Some publications (especially newer ones and publications not in PubMed) might not yet be assigned Field or Translation tags.)
