      Dr. Cruz received his MD in 2008 from Autonomous University of Madrid. After completing a Neurology residency in 2013 at La Paz University Hospital (Madrid, Spain), he joined Dr. Ari Green´s Lab in UCSF as a Post Doctoral Research Fellow. His main focus of interest is the study of the visual pathway in Experimental Autoimmune Encephalomyelitis models, and its contributions to understand the underlying mechanisms of inflammation, demyelination and neurodegeneration in Multiple Sclerosis and other neuroinflammatory and neurodegenerative diseases.
