Andrew Phelps, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Radiology at the University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Phelps received his medical degree from the University of California, San Diego in 2006, and completed his residency in Radiology at the University of California, San Francisco in 2010, where he served as Chief Resident. This was followed by a fellowship in Pediatric Radiology at the Boston Children’s Hospital in 2012.
As a radiology fellow at the Boston Children’s Hospital, Dr. Phelps was a member of the Academy at BCH, which supports educational leadership and innovation. He served as a mentor to Harvard third-year medical students by providing an introduction to pediatric radiology. Dr. Phelps was a 2012 recipient of the Boston Children’s Hospital Radiology Fellow Teacher Award for outstanding service in teaching.
Dr. Phelps is a member of the Radiologic Society of North America, the Association of University Radiologists, and the Society of Pediatric Radiology.
