Arabella Teng brings over eleven years of experience in research administration to her new role as Research Services Coordinator in Research Management Services. She started her research administration experience with the Department of Neurological Surgery in 2000, managing both pre- and post-award research administration. In 2007, she moved to the Department of Pathology where she continued to provide excellent service to PIs. She has worked with a wide variety of funding agencies, including NIH, DOD, non-profit organizations, industrial companies, UC and UC affiliates.

Right after graduating from the university, Arabella joined the UCSF Accounting Office, Student Accounts, which began her exciting career at UCSF. Later, she moved into the Extramural Fund Division, busily preparing and submitting financial reports to NIH and non-profit organizations, setting up new accounts, and closing accounts for completed projects.

Arabella is an enthusiastic learner and continuously seeks information about UCSF, our university administration, and medical research. She is looking forward to working with the team to provide superior service to investigators and to advance in the field of research administration.
