Bianca Carpentier, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Radiology in the Breast Imaging and Ultrasound sections in the Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging at the University of California, San Francisco. She received her medical degree from New York Medical College in 2009 followed by a one-year internal medicine internship at Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Dr. Carpentier then completed a Diagnostic Radiology residency at Boston University in Boston, Massachusetts followed by a Women’s Imaging fellowship at UCSF. In August 2015, Dr. Carpentier accepted a position as Assistant Professor of Clinical Radiology in Women’s Imaging at the University of California, San Francisco Mount Zion and at the San Francisco General Hospital.
Dr. Carpentier strives to better the health of women through her clinical work and research in the breast imaging and ultrasound sections. She is an active member of the Society of Breast Imaging, the American College of Radiology, American Roentgen Ray Society, and the Radiological Society of North America.
