      Dr. Burt Feuerstein grew up in Buffalo, NY, and graduated from Wesleyan University with a BA in music (1972), and from the University at Buffalo School of Medicine and Dentistry/Roswell Park Cancer Institute with an MD and PhD in pharmacology (1979). He completed his pediatric residency and fellowship in pediatric hematology/oncology at the University of California San Francisco, and is presently emeritus professor of Lab Medicine and Neurological Surgery. Burt moved to Barrow Neurological Institute in 2006, and joined the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix in 2010. His academic interests are brain tumor diagnosis and therapy, and teaching project development in medicine.
