Dr. Wang completed his residency training at Kaohsiung Medical University Hospital and received the board certification of both Urology and Surgery. The following years, he was transferred as the attending surgeon to the emergency department in the Kaohsiung Municipal HsiaoKang Hospital for one year and then sttending urologist to the urological department till the current date. In the clinical aspects, Dr. Wang is proficient in patient approaching, disease diagnosis, treatment with multiple modalities and all kinds of urological surgeries which includes endoscopic surgery for urolithiasis, transurethral resection or vaporization of the prostate for BPH, kinds of surgeries for urological cancer, laparoscopic surgery, herniorrhaphy, incontinence surgery, vasectomy and circumcision, etc.
In the research aspects, he addresses all the fields related to the urology, including urological cancer, surgery, urolithiasis, erectile dysfunction, urinary dysfunction and incontinence. In the urolithiasis, he investigates the relationship of melamine exposure related to urolithiasis, multiple factors related to stone formation and clearance, and renal injury degree related to stone composition. He also published papers about the urological cancer and urological surgeries. Recently, he focuses on the research in the incontinence and erectile dysfunction with the stem cell therapy and extracorporeal shockwave therapy. These new treatment modalities had been investigated to improve the erectile function and incontinence, however, multiple issues remained. Further studies should be continued and he will devote himself into these further research.
