      Jennifer Babik specializes in clinical infectious diseases, with a particular focus on infections in immunocompromised hosts. She is also interested in medical education and is the Inpatient Site Director for the Internal Medicine Residency Program at Moffitt-Long Hospital.

      She earned her undergraduate degree in Molecular Biology from Princeton University followed by a PhD in Physiological Sciences from the University of Oxford. She then completed her MD at Stanford University School of Medicine. She did her Internal Medicine Residency and Infectious Diseases Fellowship training at UCSF and is now an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Division of Infectious Diseases and Department of Medicine.

      She attends on both the General and Immunocompromised Host Infectious Diseases Services at Moffitt-Long Hospital and Mount Zion Hospital. She also attends on the internal medicine teaching wards at Moffitt-Long Hospital. She gives lectures and is a small group leader in medical student courses Infection, Immunity and Inflammation and Foundations of Patient Care.
