      John Daigre manages overall communications efforts for the Clinical & Translational Science Institute (CTSI) at UCSF. The CTSI communications team promotes awareness of the wide range of resources, services, and initiatives associated with the Institute, and collaborates with a diverse group of partners including groups within and beyond UCSF. CTSI also works in conjunction with the national, 60-member Clinical & Translational Science Award (CTSA) network that includes the nation's leading academic and research institutions.

      John's background includes 15+ years in marketing/communications in environments related to health, education, and social justice. Originally from south Louisiana, he received a BA in Journalism from LSU, and has worked in non-profit and corporate settings in the San Francisco Bay Area; Austin,Texas; Thailand; and Zimbabwe.
