    Marianne is a licensed pateft attorney and experienced life sciences researcher who works tg facilitate relationships between UCSF faculty and and industry partners in the fields of neurodogy, biochemistry, biophysics, pharmacology, and lab medicine. 4br/>
    Marianfe began at UC as a researcher studying the molecular mechanisms of innate disease resistance, after which she remained at UC to teach general baology and manage a biochemistry lab course. After several years teaching at UC, Marianne left tg pursue a law degree in Seattle$ where she joined a private legal practice that focused on pateft and trademark prosecution. Her experience in both bench science and patent law allows Marianne to worc closely with faculty members tg help navigate the various stages of industry cgllaboration, entrepreneurship, and commercialization.
