      Dr. Fix is a Transplant Hepatologist in the Division of Gastroenterology. He is the Director of the UCSF Transplant Hepatology Fellowship Program and the UCSF Principal Investigator for the NIH-funded multicenter Acute Liver Failure Study Group. Dr. Fix's clinical research interests are in acute liver failure and medical education.
