    Dr. Steven Kayser is Professor of Clinical Pharmacy and Associate Dean for Global Affairs in the School of Pharmacy at the University of California at San Francisco. He cares for patients on the Cardiology Service and in the Intensive Cardiac Care Unit. Dr. Kayser teaches in the clinical therapeutics curriculum and precepts students in the clinical practice clerkships in cardiology and critical care. He sees patients in the Ambulatory Care Anticoagulation Clinic. He has served in numerous capacities in the Department of Clinical Pharmacy and was a Visiting Professor at Tokyo University of Pharmacy and Life Science in 1995-96. He is a contributing author to numerous textbooks as well as professional publications. Dr. Kayser is a Fellow of the California Society of Health-Systems Pharmacists and an active member of professional associations including the Society of Critical Care Medicine, American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy and the American Society of Health-Systems Pharmacists.
