      Tracy serves is the Clinical Research Operations Manager for the UCSF Pediatrics Diabetes Clinical Research Program, directed by Stephen Gitelman, M.D. Tracy also supports the program as a clinic center for NIH-funded Type 1 Diabetes TrialNet, an international network of researchers who are exploring ways to prevent, delay and reverse the progression of type 1 diabetes.

      Prior to coming to Diabetes Center, Tracy served as the Marketing & Outreach Manager for Patient Recruitment and Outreach Manager for the CTSI Participant Recruitment & Study Management Services where she specialized in recruitment and marketing of clinical research studies. Tracy began her work with UCSF at the Immune Tolerance Network (ITN), an international NIAID/NIH sponsored consortium, where she managed patient recruitment for the portfolio of Type 1 Diabetes intervention clinical trials. Her previous experience includes market research and community outreach related to health and social issues within non-profit, academic, and patient advocacy organizations.
