      Dr. Xiaowei Zou joined Center of Neurodegenerative Diseases at UCSF-VAMC in June 2016 as a postdoctoral fellow under the supervision of Dr. Dieter J. Meyerhoff. Her expertise is magnetic resonance physics, sequence programming, and data processing. Previously, she completed doctoral training with Dr. Truman R. Brown at Columbia University in May 2014, followed by a two-year postdoctoral training with Dr. Sarah J. Nelson at UCSF. She is interested in developing advanced magnetic resonance imaging methods to better understand brain pathology, monitor brain disease progression, and predict clinical outcomes of treatment.
