    Adria Lam obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology and her medical degree through the Physician Scientist program offered by Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY, and Albany Medical College, earning a Distinction in Research. She then completed an Internal Medicine residency with The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. During her medical training, she was drawn to the holistic approach of Palliative Care and completed a fellowship in Hospice and Palliative Medicine at UCLA. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and in Hospice and Palliative Medicine. 

    As a palliative care physician, her clinical time is split between the Symptom Management Service at the Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center and the inpatient Palliative Care Service at Parnassus and Mission Bay. Her clinical interests include medical ethics, particularly at the end of life, and supporting individuals in the intersection between substance use and palliative care.

    Outside of medicine, she enjoys cooking, baking, photography, and traveling.
