Overview Alexander Lam, MD earned his medical degree at UC Davis School of Medicine in 2013, followed by a one-year internship in the Department of Internal Medicine at California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco. His four-year Diagnostic Radiology Residency was completed in 2018 at UC Irvine School of Medicine in Orange, CA, where he served as chief resident from 2017-2018. Dr. Lam completed a one-year fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at the Department of Radiology, University of Virginia School of Medicine in Charlottesville, VA in 2019. Dr. Lam is the recipient of several awards, including the Roentgen Resident/Fellow Research Award, Society of Interventional Radiology Foundation Radiology Resident Research Grant, and the American College of Radiology – Association of University Radiologists Research Scholar Award. Dr. Lam joined UCSF Radiology and Biomedical Imaging's Interventional Radiology section as an assistant clinical professor in 2019.
