    Dr. Hernandez specializes in pediatric and adolescent gynecology.

    Dr. Hernandez attended the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California. Upon completion of her medical degree, Dr. Hernandez went on to an internship and residency at the Baylor College of Medicine, specializing in obstetrics and gynecology. She then went on to complete a fellowship in Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology also at the Baylor College of Medicine.

    Prior to coming home to California, Dr. Hernandez saw patients in the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department at Ben Taub General Hospital in Houston, Texas. She also saw patients at the Pavilion for Women Hospital and Texas Children’s Hospital, also in Houston, Texas.

    Dr. Hernandez’s professional interests include complex contraception, Mullerian anomalies, minimally invasive surgery, endometriosis, abnormal uterine bleeding, fertility preservation, premature ovarian insufficiency, multidisciplinary care, and patient education. As an active member of the medical community, Dr. Hernandez is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, North American Society for Pediatric Adolescent Gynecology, Society for Gynecologic Surgeons, and Society of Adolescent Health and Medicine.

    When she’s not in the office, you can find Dr. Hernandez at Orangetheory Fitness, volunteering with Court Appointed Special Advocates, or spending time with her husband and four rescue dogs.

    Dr. Hernandez is fluent in Spanish.
