    Belayneh Abejie, MD, MPH

    Belayneh Abejie, M.D., MPH, graduated from Harvard University in Occupational and Environmental Medicine where he served as Chief Resident for the program. He earned his MPH degree in Epidemiology from Tulane University School of Public Health, New Orleans. He completed extensive residency training in Internal Medicine at Louisiana State University Health Science Center in Shreveport, Louisiana. Dr. Abejie started his medical training in his homeland and received his Medical Degree from Addis Ababa University Gondar College of Medical Sciences.

    Dr. Abejie is board certified in Internal Medicine and Occupational and Environmental Medicine, with more than 17 years’ experience in public health. He has special interest and training in Occupational and Environmental Medicine.

    When Dr. Abejie isn’t practicing medicine you might find him writing poetry and essays in his native language.
