    Dr. Kaul is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. She specializes in the care of patients with advanced lung disease. She attends in the medical ICU, the UCSF interstitial lung disease clinic and on the inpatient pulmonary consult service at the San Francisco Veterans Affairs Hospital.

    Dr. Kaul's scholarship focuses on using health services research methods to inform innovative infrastructure redesign at the intersection of clinical care delivery and health policy. She has a particular interest in improving access to pulmonary fibrosis care for vulnerable populations with a focus on rurality as a disparity in care. In addition, she has a strong interest in medical education and physician leadership in healthcare.
