    Dr. Dahle received her undergraduate degree in biology at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and her medical training at University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. After completing an internship at University of Rochester Medical Center, she completed her residency training in Psychiatry at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center where she was chief resident. Dr. Dahle is board certified in Psychiatry. Dr. Dahle joined UCSF in 2020 as a volunteer clinical faculty member when she began working at the VA Central California Health Care System as the Section Chief of Acute Psychiatric Services, where she oversees the inpatient psychiatric unit at the VA Hospital in Fresno as well as the psychiatry ED/consult service. In 2022 she received an appointment as a Health Science Assistant Clinical Professor and has particular interests in the treatment of individuals with severe and persistent mental illness as well as mental health access.
