    My twin focus is on excellence in patient care and excellence in teaching. I am Director of UCSF Sleep Disorders Center, continue to see patients in Sleep and Pulmonary Mount Zion, precept both pulmonary and sleep fellows, and supervise 3 APPs in our program. I teach regularly in didactic and clinical situations, and am also Course Co-Director of Advances in Diagnosis and Treatment of Sleep Apnea and Snoring, a national CME event. I have been recognized for clinical excellence by the California Thoracic Society Outstanding Clinician Award in 2010 and the UCSF Exceptional Physician Award in 2014. Our UCSF Sleep Disorders Center has been accredited since 1995 and continues to maintain all the clinical standards of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.
