    David (Dave) grew up in San Diego prior to graduating from the UC, Berkeley with a B.S. in Environmental Sciences followed by a M.D. at UC, Davis. Early on in his medical training, David was drawn to education and the study of peripheral vascular disease. As a resident at UCSF he hopes to carry forward his passion for teaching and research in prevention and echocardiography into an academic career in Cardiology
