Ellen is a Research Services Coordinator on Team B serving the Department of Clinical Pharmacy. Ellen brings over 15 years experience to her new role as an RSC. She began her career at UCSF in 1996 as an Accounting Assistant in the Controller's Office and has steadily advanced to an Analyst IV with the Stem Cell Program. In her role in the Stem Cell Program, Ellen was responsible for pre- and post-award administration, as well as budget consolidation and fund reconciliations. Along the way, Ellen has gained significant experience in general accounting, analytical work with grants/awards, with agencies such as NIH, CIRM, private, non-profit agencies, and UC intramural activity.
Ellen graduated with a BA in Accounting and enjoys staying up to date by finding opportunities for ongoing training and continuous education. Ellen brings her enthusiasm in providing the best possible support for the PI's and their research staff. Ellen is looking forward to being a part of this vibrant, friendly, and well-connected Team. By providing excellent service to the faculty that do the research, the team will be a part of the improvements UC San Francisco is making as a whole, to continue to be a world-class institution.
