Overview Fion Ng is a School of Nursing alum, and is currently a Clinical Research Coordinator in the Department of Community Health Systems. Her research foci have included preterm birth, pain management in acute and chronically ill children, parent/caregiver empowerment in intensive care nursery settings, and digital health technology interventions and medication adherence in older adults. Her current research projects center around digital and mobile health technology-based interventions to improve patient self-care, clinical outcomes, and quality of life for patients with cardiovascular diseases.
She is also active in her clinical role as a nurse at Bay Area non-profit with adolescents with histories of abuse, trauma and neglect, using a strengths based approach, and providing holistic and family-centered care to address mental health needs.
