    Jack is a clinician-educator and Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco.

    He is based at the San Francisco VA Medical Center, where he sees patients and teaches residents and medical students in the emergency room, urgent care clinic, and inpatient wards.

    He also directs the internal medicine residency's Clinical Teaching Elective and is President of The Clinical Problem Solvers, a multimedia platform that aims to disseminate and democratize clinical reasoning education through a podcast, live virtual morning report, and diagnostic reasoning app.

    His academic interests are clinical reasoning, workplace teaching and learning, and clinical teacher development.
