Overview A graduate of CIIS and and a Northern California native, aside from being current president of the North American Drama Therapy Association (NADTA), Josiah Stickels works as a registered drama therapist (RDT) and is on the leadership team at Langley Porter Psychiatric Hospital & Clinics at the University of California, San Francisco. He specializes in using drama therapy in acute psychiatry. Josiah completed his practicum in an adolescent inpatient unit and worked at a dual diagnosis residential rehabilitation facility before his current work at Langley Porter. He began in Langley Porter’s adult inpatient program and is currently clinical administrative director of intensive services, managing the Partial Hospitalization & Intensive Outpatient Programs in addition to Rehabilitation Services. Josiah helped restart a practicum experience and regularly mentors students and staff on effective uses of drama therapy.
