    Dr. Miya is a general internist who has practiced exclusively in the SF VAMC Emergency Department since 2000. She has a wealth of experience in a wide range of urgent/emergent care issues that she has developed while caring for Veterans. She is the leader for faculty staffing for after hours and an active educator for residents rotating through the SF VAMC Emergency Department. Her academic interests are in GME and healthcare communication.
