    Dr. Liang Ge began his research in cardiovascular fluid mechanics while pursuing his PhD training at Georgia Institute of Technology under guidance of Dr. Sotiropoulos and Dr. Yoganathan. In recent years, he has collaborated extensively with the Dr. Elaine Tseng on investigations of aortic and pulmonary biomechanics. Computational models of the aortic root, pulmonary autograft of the Ross procedure, ascending aortic aneurysms, and transcatheter aortic valve devices have been created. Dr. Ge has extensive experience in advanced biomechanics analysis, development of high-performance computational fluid dynamics (CFD) solvers, implementation of advanced fluid-structure interaction schemes, parallel computational techniques, and image processing.
