    Mark Barry, MD is a general surgery resident in the UCSF Department of Surgery. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Pennsylvania studying Biological Basis of Behavior, followed by medical school at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha honor medical society.

    He then came to UCSF for to begin his general surgery residency training as a categorical resident. From 2020 to 2022, he worked in Dr. Pati's lab studying novel resuscitative therapies in hemorrhagic shock and trauma. He is interested in pediatric surgery.
