Overview Mark Barry, MD is a general surgery resident in the UCSF Department of Surgery. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Pennsylvania studying Biological Basis of Behavior, followed by medical school at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha honor medical society. He is currently in his two research years in Dr. Pati's lab studying novel resuscitative therapies in hemorrhagic shock and trauma. He is interested in pediatric surgery and trauma/acute care surgery.
