Since my residency graduation in 2013, I have been an academic hospitalist with UCSF/Fresno Internal Medicine Residency Program and I supervise residents and medical students in both Community Regional Medical Center and Central California VA hospital. I supervise and oversee the procedure service run by our division and have special interest in point-of-care ultrasound utilization in the inpatient setting (we were able to pursue 4 hand-held devices to be used by residents and faculty in their daily rounds). I also have interest in teaching evidence-based bedside physical examination skills to residents and medical students, as well as developing hospital medicine curriculum for residents.
