Dr. Betchel received his undergraduate degree in Pre-Health Sciences. Prior to his career in medicine, he worked with the Visalia Unified School District in assisting young adults with special needs. Dr. Betchel received his medical degree from Midwestern University in Arizona in 2018 and subsequently completed his training with UCSF Fresno’s Psychiatry residency. Following residency, Dr. Betchel joined the faculty at UCSF Fresno as an Assistant Clinical professor and an attending psychiatrist at Community Regional Medical Center. Dr. Betchel is a Central Valley native and enjoys spending time with his family with activities such as hiking, fishing and board games.
