I am a fourth year resident in the Department of Emergency Medicine at UCSF Fresno. My research focuses on the intersection of climate change, global health, and emergency care systems, particularly in LMICs. I am interested in understanding sources of vulnerability and designing adaptation measures to both reduce the risks of climate change and help build climate-resilient communities. My recent work in this space includes heat health research, the health co-benefits of climate change mitigation, and serving as a Chapter Scientist for the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change Sixth Assessment Report.
