    Role Description: Dr. Kim's current research focus involves medical device and surgical innovation under the mentorship of Dr. Hanmin Lee at UCSF. He is currently working on the SmartDerm Project, a comprehensive decubitus ulcer prevention system that utilizes sensors placed on the patients' body and patients' data to objectively and accurately determine the risk of decubitus ulcer development.
