    Prashant Patel received his bachelor degree in biology from the University of Michigan and his osteopathic medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency and chief residency in Internal Medicine at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine (WMED), following which he remained at WMED until 2021 as a clinician-educator at the School of Medicine and Department of Medicine, practicing both inpatient and outpatient medicine. In 2022, he joined the Division of Hospital Medicine at UCSF Health, focusing on his passions in clinical care and medical education.
