    My research focuses on the identification of serum and imaging biomarkers associated with elevated risk of adverse cardiovascular outcomes in various populations, including patients with coronary artery disease and chronic kidney disease. In addition, I am interested in identifying novel and prognostically meaningful non-invasive measures of cardiac physiology.

    I am committed to undergraduate and graduate medical education. I have precepted numerous medical students and IM residents in the Cardiology Clinic at the SFVAMC and on the wards. I spearhead stress testing and Nuclear Cardiology teaching for fellows rotating at the SFVAMC.
