Dr. Rameen Atefi is an academic hospitalist with a strong passion for medical education, resident advancement, and lifelong learning. He strives to foster a teaching environment grounded in the Socratic method, encouraging trainees to think critically, ask thoughtful questions, and develop clinical reasoning skills that extend beyond memorization.

As both an educator and clinician, Dr. Atefi believes that medicine requires intellectual humility and a commitment to remaining a student for life. His academic interests include pulmonary and critical care medicine, bedside procedures, and the cultivation of high-value, evidence-based inpatient care. He particularly enjoys bedside teaching and helping learners build confidence in both diagnostic reasoning and procedural skills.
