Overview Dr. Rebeccah Brusca is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). After graduating from Pomona College, she moved to Ghana where she gained her M.P.H. at the University of Ghana through a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholarship. Her thesis work focused on mother-to-child transmission of HIV. She continued work in HIV/AIDS at the Aaron Diamond AIDS Research Center before starting medical school at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She completed internal medicine residency at the Johns Hopkins Hospital Osler Training Program, then joined the Hospitalist Division at Suburban Hospital, Johns Hopkins Community Physicians.
Dr. Brusca is currently a Hospitalist at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital. Her interests include HIV/AIDS, refugee and global health, and medical education.
