    Rutwik Shah MD, is a Project Director at the Center for Intelligent Imaging (ci2). He builds data science tools and manages data pipelines for various machine learning projects at the center. He performs clinical validation of the A.I. solutions in real world clinical workflows to test for interpretability and usability. He is also the Clinical Lead on various research collaborations with industry partners such as NVIDIA and GE Healthcare, translating breakthrough research into products.

    Rutwik is a physician scientist by training. He pursued his postdoctoral research in medical imaging and machine learning at UCSF and has a master's degree in Translational Medicine from UC Berkeley. Prior to this he completed his clinical training in India. His research interests include multimodal machine learning, clinical informatics, and medical applications of swarm intelligence.
