In my role as a Psychologist II at the Ob/Gyn department at UCSF, I have researched an array of topics, contributing valuable insights to the field. My work has included groundbreaking research on the psychosocial impact of infertility, as well as the psychological dynamics within romantic relationships. I have additionally investigated the links between emotion-related processes and both intrapersonal and interpersonal outcomes. I am currently working to better understand the stressors associated with fertility treatment for same-sex couples, with implications for ways to optimize service delivery for LGBTQIA+ individuals and couples. My career in psychology has been rooted in understanding and elucidating the important connections between intimate relationship processes, emotional functioning, and mental and physical health.
