Thibaut Davy-Mendez is a postdoctoral fellowin the UCSF Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. He is currently supported by the NIDA-funded Postdoctoral Traineeship in Substance Use Disorders Treatment and Services Research.
Dr. Davy-Mendez's research focuses on the clinical care of persons living with HIV. His postdoctoral work examines substance use screening, treatment, and outcomes among persons receiving HIV care in Kaiser Permanente Northern California. His work has also included studies on antiretroviral regimen effectiveness, acute HIV infection, HIV drug resistance, and hospitalization rates and causes, based in observational clinical cohorts such as CNICS and NA-ACCORD.
