    Dr. Nguyen is a fellowship-trained, board-certified specialist in Gynecologic Oncology with more than a decade of surgical and academic experience.

    He earned his undergraduate degree with Highest Honors from Rutgers University and was named a Rutgers Scholar. He went on to receive his medical degree with Honors from Touro University California. During his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Washington University School of Medicine, he was recognized with a Research Award. He completed fellowship training in Gynecologic Oncology at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in 2012.

    Dr. Nguyen serves as Director of the Gynecologic Oncology Service at UCSF Fresno and has previously held a faculty appointment at Stanford University School of Medicine. His practice focuses on complex abdominal and pelvic oncologic surgery, including advanced minimally invasive and robotic techniques. Over the course of his career, he has performed more than 1,500 surgical procedures.

    Outside of his clinical work, Dr. Nguyen enjoys outdoor pursuits, motorcycling, computer programming, photography, and Taekwondo.
