Timothy Judson, MD MPH is a Hospitalist, Urgent Care Physician and Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Hospital Medicine at the University of California San Francisco Medical Center. As Medical Director of Care Delivery Transformation and Medical co-Director of Adult Care Transitions, he oversees a range of innovative programs aimed at improving outcomes for large populations of patients, and optimizing the efficiency of care delivery.
Dr. Judson is board certified in Clinical Informatics, and works as an informatics lead at UCSF's Center for Digital Health Innovation. In this role, he designed and led the implementation of the COVID-19 Testing and Care tool (formerly Symptom Checker), available on MyChart. He is involved in several other virtual care programs aimed at improving value and access to care.
Dr. Judson received his bachelor's degree in Biology and Community health and his Masters in Public Health from Tufts University, and his medical degree from the Weill Cornell Medical College. He completed Internal Medicine Residency at UCSF, followed by a Chief Residency at UCSF, Parnassus Hospital.
