I am interested in improving outcomes for our patients in the ICU. There is very clear evidence out there in terms of what the right therapies are for patients but there has been a great deal of resistance in implementation of these therapeutics. My current strategy for change is the smart implementation of protocols. This may leverage things as primitive as paper checklists to leveraging currently available technologies to computerized artificial intelligence for clinician decision support.
