Dr. Alicia Callejo-Black is a primary care pediatrician who is passionate about promoting health and well-being in children. With a special interest in early childhood development, she provides care from infancy through adolescence. Her focus is on educating families about healthy lifestyles, mental health, immunizations and safety, and her goal of delivering effective, compassionate care centers on building long-term relationships with her patients and their families. In addition to caring for patients, she founded the UCSF Neuropediatrician Program through the Department of Neurology and enjoys helping kids, parents and their doctors better understand how the brain can change and adapt. If your child has common neurological symptoms – such as headaches, tics, developmental concerns or a first-time seizure – a Neuropediatrician is an excellent first point of contact.
