Anne is a Research Services Coordinator on Team B, serving Bioengineering and Therapeutic Sciences (BTS) and Pharmaceutical Chemistry. For the past two years at UCSF, Anne has worked in the UCSF Contracts & Grants Department (C&G) where she developed her knowledge of UCSF policies and procedures, and gained valuable pre-award experience with her daily review of proposals. Anne’s experience with interpreting sponsor agency requirements, identifying problematic compliance issues, and advising solutions makes her a strong asset for Team B. Also, before transitioning to the C&G Proposal Team, Anne handled all pre- and post-award correspondence processing for C&G, including JIT submissions, budget revisions, no-cost extensions, carry forwards, final invention statements, transfer requests, and A-133 audit certifications. Prior to coming to UCSF, Anne worked in the financial industry, for over 15 years, in another deadline driven role as a Proxy Voting Specialist, in the San Francisco office of a global money management firm, RCM. Also, at RCM, she worked as an Associate in the Research Library, where she managed the firm’s trade publications and conducted online research of companies and industry information. Anne holds a Bachelors of Science degree in International Business from San Francisco State University. And in her spare time, one of Anne’s favorite things to do is walk on Ocean Beach at sunset with her black lab, Kodi.
