Briauna Taylor is an Assistant Professor in the School of Nursing. She joined the faculty in 2023 in the Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGPCNP) program. She currently serves as the Specialty Coordinator for the BSN-to-DNP AGPCNP program and teaches across the curriculum. As faculty of record, she leads both large DNP core courses and small seminar discussions, and she is also a mentor and preceptor to NP students.
Dr. Taylor maintains her clinical practice at LifeLong Medical Care, where she provides primary care for adults and older adults with a focus on chronic disease management, prevention, and addressing social determinants of health. Her academic and clinical work is grounded in advancing equitable, team-based, and innovative models of care and education.
