    Dr. Yoon received his BS in Biology from the University of California, Los Angeles, his MPH from The University of Southern California, his MS in Medical Health Sciences along with his medical training at Touro University California College of Osteopathic Medicine. He went on to complete his residency training in psychiatry at UCSF Fresno. Dr. Yoon is board certified in Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He joined UCSF in 2021 as Volunteer Clinical Faculty when he began his work at the VA Central California Health Care System as an attending consultation-liaison and emergency psychiatrist. He was subsequently appointed as Health Sciences Assistant Clinical Professor. Dr. Yoon enjoys spending time outdoors, playing golf, spending time with family, friends, cooking, eating and dining out.
