Dr. Maki Nakazato is a board-certified geriatrician at UCSF. Prior to UCSF, she completed her residency training in family medicine at Chestnut Hill Hospital in Philadelphia, followed by a Geriatrics Fellowship at Stanford University. She also completed a fellowship in Hospice and Palliative Medicine at the University of Virginia. As a geriatrician, Dr. Nakazato sees a wide range of medically complex older adults at one of the UCSF geriatric clinics. At the Osher Center, she provides individual and group visits that empower older adults of all ages, health statuses, and backgrounds to improve their health and well-being as they age.
