    Michael N. Hoff, PhD is an Associate Professor and Director of Diagnostic Medical Physics in the Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). His role is to ensure and improve diagnostic medical imaging quality and safety across all modalities within the UCSF enterprise. This includes providing regulatory oversight, overseeing technologist quality assurance activities, promoting the efficient utilization of imaging equipment, and participating in associated committees. He also researches in areas of MR parameter quantification, artifact correction, and safety considerations while collaborating with multidisciplinary clinical and research radiologists and scientists.
